SCOPE
HAMCLEAN-13 is a Stainless steel cleaner which is especially formulated to remove oils, greases and waxes from Stainless steel surface by spray or immersion. The chemical is especially suitable for mild steel and stainless steel surfaces.It imparts a brilliant, streak-free shine without any hard rubbing. It is a non-toxic stainless steel cleaner which does not built up on surface that is why it confers deep lustrous surface.
PRINCIPAL USE
It is designed to wipe out light, medium, heavy oils, waxes and greases from Stainless Steel.
PROCESSING TIME
The treatment time should be 2-3min spray at 5-15 psi or 10-15 immersion at ambient temperature
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
HAMCLEAN-13 Chemical is slightly corrosive. Avoid direct contact with the skin or splash into the eyes. In case of accidental contact wash immediately with plenty of clean water seek medical attention.
TESTING AND CONTROL
- Take 10ml sample from the Degreasing bath.
- Add 5-6 drops of phenolphthalein which serves as indicator
- Now Titrate the sample against 0.1N Standard HCl Solution until pink colour is disappeared.
- The standard operating pointage of degreasing bath should be 15 + 20 points.
